Our establishment
O VILAR is an over 250 year old village house, located on the slopes of the Mera de Arriba Valley, just 3 km from the mouth of the Mera River, in the Ortigueira municipality of A Coruña province. The house, built in the 18th century, is recently restored (2003) but maintains its original structure. O VILAR is in 20,000 m² of grounds, with a garden, a native forest and meadows. O VILAR is also just 10 minutes away from the beaches of Ortigueira, Cariño and Cedeira and 15 km from the Shrine of San Andrés de Teixido. The accommodation, a typical rural Galician building, is available for rent as a complete unit, all year round. O VILAR has a surface area of 250 m² and is in good condition. In O VILAR we can guarantee you a peaceful stay, as the house is located away from the village, with an asphalted access. We are in a natural area that is under special protection. In our accommodation you can enjoy activities from the house (hiking, bicycles, etc.) and in the area (horse rides, quad biking, fishing, kayaking, beaches, mountains, etc.).

Rooms
O VILAR can accommodate 10 people in 5 double rooms with full bathroom (2 with terrace). One room is adapted for the disabled. All rooms have television (optional) and heating. We also have 4 extra folding beds and a cot available for any additional accommodation requirements.
